Odense

The wool lining of Odense ensures your feet are snug in your boots all year long, but especially in the cooler months. Just like our popular F̴aborg boots with the added comfort of wool lining, these unisex boots work well on all foot types, as the six lace holes secure your foot and offer great ankle support.

  • Duckfeet in Denmark have been making shoes by hand for over forty years. Duckfeet are simple and functional, typical of mid-20th century Danish design.

Duckfeet's foot-formed design allows room for the toes to spread naturally as you walk, and for air to reach the feet. Leather midsoles and uppers breathe and transport moisture away from the foot.

We use leather because it's strong and long-lasting, but also flexible - allowing the shoe to move with and mould to your individual foot shape.

No two pairs of Duckfeet are exactly alike. Every pair of shoes is treated individually during production, the natural tanning and processing by hand allows for subtle variations in the leather. These variations are highlighted by the particular way you wear them, which imbues each shoe with personality, your story, for your life.

  • Odense features premium full grain, double stitched and reinforced 100% leather uppers, insole, leather midsole and 100% wool lining. Our non-toxic, vegetable tanned leather is manufactured according to strict environmental standards. It is drum dyed using high quality, non-toxic dyes and specially treated to be water and dirt repellant. Using traditional European Veldtschoen construction the upper is built up by hand over a flat last then the midsole is double stitched to our 100% natural crepe rubber outsole. Every pair of Duckfeet comes into contact with many experienced hands before they are placed in their box and fitted to your feet.

In order to choose your perfect pair just measure the length and girth of your feet.

To measure the length you can put your feet on a with page of paper and draw the line in front and at the back of your feet (the highest point at the front and at the back). The length can vary between 1 and 2 mm. To measure the girth you will circle your feet at the ball part. Check this link how to measure the ball girth.

If your feet is large we suggest that you choose the size above that is matching to the girth given in our chart.

The pictures below will help you with these measurements :

Please not that if the size you choose doesn't fit you perfectly you can exchange your shoes.

Slipper Sizing:

The slipper are hand-felted in one piece without any stitching. The advantage of these kind of slippers is that with the time, your feel will continue to felt the slippers and they will take the shape of your feet.

We have cut the opening of the shoes a little bit tighter. For the kids and female sizes we have cut a little 'V' cut to make it easier to enter the shoe. In case you feel it is still too tight, just cut with scissors the 'V' a little bit bigger.

Please see here for the sizing conversion between the EU, US and UK for our slippers.
